Trial lesson

I suggest an initial trial lesson (see cost below) to give us a chance to get to know each other, to find out what you want from your lessons, to see if we are on the same wavelength and that you are happy to commit to a course of lessons.

Course of lessons

Thereafter I would ask you to pay for a course of ten half-hour or five hourly lessons in advance.  These would normally be taken concurrently in a regular weekly slot, allowing, of course for time off - at Christmas and holidays, for example.

Lesson costs are as follows:

• Initial trial lesson - £15.00 (half-hour) or £30.00 (hour)
• Course of ten half-hour lessons - £150.00 (£15.00 per lesson)
• Course of five hourly lessons - £150.00 (£30.00 per lesson)

Lessons that are missed

As long as I receive 48 hours notice, I will not usually charge for a missed lesson.  I would ask you, however, not to miss more than one out of five hourly lessons or two out of ten half-hourly lessons unless pre-agreed, as otherwise I would ask you to cover the cost.

Obviously I will try to be as flexible as possible and will fit you in if I can in a different slot in the same week if you have to miss a lesson.
